Welcome to the home page of the EURACT-NMR Workshop

We are pleased to announce registration opening for the Workshop "EURACT-NMR – European Radioactive Nuclear Magnetic Resonance" being held in Karlsruhe, Germany, January 27–29, 2010. The workshop is being co-organized by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the EU Joint Research Centre - Institute for Transuranium Elements (ITU).

The workshop is funded by the EU 7th Framwork EURATOM Programme as a coordination and support action “EU-NMR-An - Towards a European Competence Centre for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) on Actinides“.

 

There are four main workshop topic sections:

    · Modern NMR techniques and Methodology

    · Solution state NMR

    · Solid state NMR

    · Actinide/radionuclide NMR studies

 

In addition to oral presentations and a poster session, there will be lab tours to ITU + KIT’s Institute for Nuclear Waste Disposal to visit their controlled areas, equipped with NMR instrumentation, and an excursion to Bruker BioSpin GmbH in Ettlingen, near Karlsruhe.
